OTCH Lynde's White Salt

Salty came to live with me in 1978. He was 14 months month’s old.

He was a conformation wash out. To my good fortune, Salty went oversize. He was supposed to be a mini, but he stood a proud 17 inches at the shoulder.

Salty was my first OTCH. In 1982 he finished his OTCH in a terrible rainstorm in upper New York State. It really didn’t matter if it was raining or the sun was shining on that day.

Salty was my transition dog from the old method of yank and jerk to the new method of play and reward, so he started out with the old and ended up with the new. Salty liked that much better. He was a great dog to learn with, and I thank him for that.
