Pete was a "character" from the day he came
to us from Joyce Morgan. He was not my first dog but he was my first
OTCH and no dog could ever take his place.
His obedience career spanned seven years. He won many
High in Trials and High Combines. He placed in three Gaines Events and
was ranked in the top ten Non-Sporting and top ten in Poodles several
times. Many people remember his enthusiasm and pure joy at being in the
ring.
Whatever else I could say about Pete is summed up (for
me) by this, I don’t think I ever came out of an obedience ring
that someone did not come up to me and say "I have never enjoyed
watching a dog any more than seeing him show." Thanks Pete. I miss
