Gema was not my dog. She belonged to a very good friend of mine, Pat
Hartigan.
At the time I did not have a dog and Pat was at her wits end in with
Gema. I asked if I could have a go with her, and that is how Gema and I
came to be.
Gema was a very challenging dog. She was very smart and always
thinking up ways to keep you up at night trying to put a plan together
that would work.
Gema did everything at super sonic speed whether it was right or
wrong. So everyone loved to watch her work…and, when she was right it
was a thrill of a lifetime.
